Aurora Family Farm Harvests The Sun

Aurora, OR – January 5, 2014 – NW Photon Energy (NWPE), a leading provider, designer and installer of turnkey commercial solar systems in the Pacific Northwest, today announced the completion of a 376KW ground-mounted, photovoltaic (PV) solar system in Aurora, Oregon.

The Anderson Solar System is the third of its kind to sit on family-owned farm land in the Willamette Valley, land previously used for sod or turf farming . NWPE and JCS Solar, co-owners of the system, are leasing the property and will supply power back to PGE under a multi-year (15) interconnection agreement as part of PGE’s Solar Payment Option Program.

NW Photon Energy installed US-based AVO optical solar panels as well as Tier 1 inverters from Advanced Energy at the Anderson solar farm.
